The Teija Vartiainen x Finsket collaborative collection was born from a desire to combine the distinctive expression of an emerging designer with Finsket’s bold and sustainable design. The Basaltti pattern draws its inspiration from geological layers and the playful flow of watercolour.

The pattern has been printed on the fabric surface using large-scale printers. Digital printing technology allows for precise transfer of intricate details onto the fabric without the limitations of traditional printing plates or screens. The fabric surface has a photographic sharpness and can faithfully reproduce watercolor paintings or other artworks in a vibrant manner.

The light blue sweatshirt knit, in a colour called Brook,  is brushed on the reverse side, making it feel soft and pliable.

Finsket's sweatshirt knit consists of 96% organic cotton and 4% elastane. The elastane provides the fabric with a comfortable elasticity and helps it regain its original shape after stretching. Sewing with sweatshirt knit is easy and trouble-free.
