Why mulesing-free merino wool?

Mulesing is a painful procedure performed on sheep to prevent infections caused by parasites. The procedure is often carried out without pain relief, which can cause sheep prolonged pain and suffering for several days.

Fortunately, alternative methods have also been developed to prevent parasite-related infections without causing sheep the same kind of suffering. However, these methods are more expensive for sheep farmers to implement, which is why mulesing-free merino wool comes at a higher cost and this is also reflected in the price of the finished products. Care for it properly and enjoy it for longer

Garments and accessories made from merino wool require proper care. The way a merino wool garment is washed, for example, affects how long it will last. We recommend washing merino wool fabrics on a gentle cycle at 30°C. Avoid tumble drying. Do not leave the garment hanging while wet; instead, lay it flat to dry.
