Paapii's multicoloured interlock fabric with a geometric pattern called Traffic. The print incorporates vehicles familiar from Paapii’s previous designs. This design is by Anniina Isokangas. Check out the pattern in our Design library.
Interlock fabric is created by knitting two pieces of fabric together. Paapii's interlock fabric is made of cotton. As a double-knit fabric, it is thicker and more absorbent than typical knit fabrics. The fabric is produced with two interlocking rows of stitches, giving it a durable yet soft and smooth texture.
Made of 100% organic cotton, Paapii's interlock fabrics are manufactured in Europe for Paapii, in a factory certified by GOTS and OEKO-TEX. The GOTS certification ensures that the fabric is organic and ethically produced from start to finish. OEKO-TEX certification assures that the fabric is safe for sensitive skin.
The pattern on this fabric has been printed using a digital method onto the surface of white knit. Digital printing technology allows for the creation of multicoloured motifs, resulting in a fabric with a photo-like effect. Compared to traditional printing techniques, the surface of digitally printed fabric is smoother and more slippery.
Versatile organic interlock is a durable choice for various sewing projects, such as making clothes and accessories. Sew a t-shirt, a turtleneck sweater or a beautiful dress from this beautiful interlock fabric.
Great tip for those interested in sewing! You can start sewing at any age. Paapii has pattern books and paper pattern sheets that are there to help you.
