Paapii's multicoloured interlock fabric with a geometric pattern called Traffic. The print incorporates vehicles familiar from Paapii’s previous designs. This design is by Anniina Isokangas. Check out the pattern in our Design library.
The pattern on this fabric has been printed using a digital method onto the surface of white knit. Digital printing technology allows for the creation of multicoloured motifs, resulting in a fabric with a photo-like effect. Compared to traditional printing techniques, the surface of digitally printed fabric is smoother and more slippery.
Interlock fabric is created by knitting two pieces of fabric together. Paapii's interlock fabric is made of cotton. As a double-knit fabric, it is thicker and more absorbent than typical knit fabrics. The fabric is produced with two interlocking rows of stitches, giving it a durable yet soft and smooth texture.
Made of 100% organic cotton, Paapii's interlock fabrics are manufactured in Europe for Paapii, in a factory certified by GOTS and OEKO-TEX. The GOTS certification ensures that the fabric is organic and ethically produced from start to finish. OEKO-TEX certification assures that the fabric is safe for sensitive skin.
You can use interlock fabrics in clothes, like t-shirts, dresses, baby’s wear or sportswear. But you can also use interlock textiles for your DIY projects. The thick yet soft and breathable interlock fabric is great for making scarves, beanies and mittens.
