Paapii’s dark grey and grey coloured merino wool hoodie in jacquard knit. 

The inspiration for the pattern-Looped square, comes from the Hannunvaakuna or the Bear paw. 

"The Hannunvaakuna, or the Bear Paw, exudes history, and we wanted to create our own pattern for Paapii based on it. In that mystical symbol, there is said to be a hidden protective power that was once believed in ancient times. It is said that the symbol was used to ward off evil spirits and bad luck. As a result, the Hannunvaakuna can still be found today, for example, on the walls of old buildings."

The Kuura hoodie has a fitted design and a generous collar, which can be worn casually around the neck or pulled up as a hood. To balance the large hood, the design includes a structured torso. The material is a soft, organic merino wool interlock jacquard knit. Pair the hoodie with, for example, Paapii's organic cotton Saaga trousers or jeans. The hoodie is sewn with love and solar energy at Paapii's own sewing factory in Kokkola.

The material is 100 % organic merino wool in jacquard knit. The jacquard technique, where patterns are woven from various coloured threads, adds depth and beauty to the fabric.
