The collaboration between Annuli Viherjuuri and Paapii is a tribute to the beauty of flowers and the creative journey they spark. Visual artist Annuli Viherjuuri, inspired by the flowers from her own garden, sought to transform these natural wonders into lasting works of art—preserving their bloom forever, untouched by time.
Paapii's dark blue, butterfly-sleeved Vuokko dress for women, in a colour called storm, features a beautiful floral pattern.
The pattern, Hidden by flowers, has been printed on the fabric surface using large-scale printers. Digital printing technology allows for precise transfer of intricate details onto the fabric without the limitations of traditional printing plates or screens. The fabric surface has a photographic sharpness and can faithfully reproduce artworks in a vibrant manner.
The Vuokko dress by Paapii is designed with a full skirt and is crafted from jersey fabric that falls gracefully. It has a waist seam and butterfly sleeves, giving it a wrap dress-like silhouette. The hemline sits just below the knee, making it ideal for both casual and celebratory moments. The organic jersey ensures comfort from morning to evening.
Finnish-made women’s clothing represents sustainable and stylish fashion. The Vuokko dress is sewn with care and solar energy in Paapii's own sewing factory in Kokkola.
The organic cotton jersey, which the Vuokko dress is made from, is produced in a factory with GOTS and OEKO-TEX certification. Learn more about how we work with sustainability on Paapii's website.
